Computer Science WITHOUT a Computer!

| 5.30.19

CS Unplugged is very much based on a constructivist approach: students are given challenges based on a few simple rules, and in the process of solving those challenges they uncover powerful ideas on their own.

Not only is this a more memorable way to learn, but it empowers them to realize that these are ideas within their grasp. The activities are also very kinesthetic – the bigger the materials, the better.

CS Unplugged is a collection of free teaching material that teaches Computer Science through engaging games and puzzles that use cards, string, crayons and lots of running around.
